Human Geography

I am a BA Geographer in my second year. Already I have discovered and explored many new areas of interest, particularly the issues of development and the environment at different scales and the contemporary challenges facing these. The many different perspectives considered also helps in analysing human and geographical research and creating our own research questions, especially on the Overseas Field Trip to New York in the spring which we are all very much looking forward to! The events organised by the GeogSoc this year look brilliant and have always been a great way to meet the rest of the department whether bar crawling or playing netball; it’s just one of the ways in which I’m really making the most of my time at The University of Leicester!
