This section covers some of the more common inherited conditions patterns. Specific conditions and rare disorders often have a genetic basis, however, there will still often be a variety of causes.

These causes may include a single abnormal gene (mongenic), a chromosomal abnormality or a genetic predisposition which is allied to other factors.
