GENIE is delighted to announce a series of public engagement lectures aimed at the non-scientist. These lectures are free and open to everyone.

 

Public Engagement Lecture 2012

 

The next lecture will be given by Dr Flav Giorgini speaking about ‘ Targeting genes for therapy in neurodegenerative disease’ and Professor Rhona Borts, who will talk about ‘sex and the single yeast’.

  • At 6.30pm on Tuesday 9th October 2012
  • in the Frank and Katherine May Lecture Theatre, Henry Wellcome Building, Lancaster Road, University of Leicester,
  • each of the two lectures will be approximately 30 minutes in length and the event will be followed by a drinks reception.
