Carol Arlett is based in the School of English and works with the Head of School to ensure the smooth running of the School in the areas of research, teaching and administration. She also has a cross-College role and supports the implementation of administrative policies in the Department of History of Art and Film and the School of Modern Languages.
Prior to joining the School of English in January 2011, Carol was responsible for the management of Engineering Subject Centre at Loughborough University. Her qualifications include an MSc in Management from Loughborough Business School and she is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

Paula Warrington deals with the administration of all postgraduate matters in the School of English and the Victorian Studies Centre. She welcomes enquiries and applications for the three MA courses and research student programme offered by the School. She is secretary to the School Graduate Committee and the Postgraduate Staff/Student Consultative Committee. Her office is located within the Victorian Studies Centre in the Attenborough Building, Att 1312.
