Undergraduate Courses

The Department of Engineering offers undergraduate courses in several Engineering disciplines, at both BEng and MEng level.

All the following subjects are available at MEng and BEng levels:

  • General Engineering
  • Aerospace Engineering
  • Electrical and Electronic Engineering
  • Communications and Electronic Engineering
  • Software and Electronic Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering

The MEng (Master of Engineering) takes four years of full- time study on Campus, and the BEng (Bachelor of Engineering) takes three years.  All subjects have the possibility of working for a year in industry or studying abroad, between the second and third years of study.  More information can be found on the University site.

Engineering Council Accredited

The degree programmes are all honours degrees and are accredited by the appropriate professional engineering bodies.
