PhD Student from Engineering wins Peer Review Prize and College of Science and Engineering prize

Gary Nolan. Engineering PhD student, won the Peer Review Prize at the Festival of Postgraduate Research.

 

Gary Nolan, PhD student in the Department of Engineering and East Midlands Forensic Pathology Unit, won the College of Science and Engineering Prize at the Festival of Postgraduate Research today.  He also won the Peer Review prize which is voted for by the students, at the Festival of Postgraduate Research on 16th June 2011.  His poster was on "Glassings and Stabbings: Bottles as Weapons - The Engineering Story".
