First UK-China Steel Research Forum

The first Uk China steel Forum was held in the University of Leicester, 18-20 July 2010.

First UK-China Steel Research Forum

This forum aims to provide a platform for scientists, engineers and steel industry leaders to discuss and exchange the recent advances on steel research and development in the UK and China. It will also provide a unique opportunity for academic institutions and industrial companies to develop joint research projects to foster steel research collaborations between the UK and China.

The first Uk China steel Forum was held in the University of Leicester, 18-20 July 2010. 75 people attended the forum, representing 20 universities and 15 research and industrial companies from UK and China

The 2nd UK-China Steel Research Forum will be held in 2012 in Wuhan Jointly organised by Wuhan University of Science and Technology and Wuhan Iron and Steel (Group) Corporation. Prof. Kaiming Wu will lead the organising committee for the 2nd UK-China Steel Forum. Look forward to seeing you again in Wuhan in 2012.
