Information for prospective postgraduate students

Prospective PhD students

The ESRG is currently accepting applications for PhD students.  If you are interested in applying for a PhD, you may initially contact one of the academics in the group to discuss research areas and topics of interest.  Offers of a PhD position can only be issued after a formal application has been made - the applications procedure is described on the main University website.

When funded PhD positions are available, these are advertised in the Graduate School, and externally at www.jobs.ac.uk.

Prospective full time MSc students

The Department of Engineering offers a 1-year full-time MSc programme in Embedded Systems.  Information on the course is available from the main departmental website.

Prospective part time MSc students

The Department of Engineering, in collaboration with TTE Systems also delivers a part-time programme in Reliable Embedded Systems.  This is a cost-effective, part-time programme (you can "learn while you work") which will be delivered both in Leicester (UK) and in Penang (Malaysia). The programme runs over two years and the course fee includes a full copy of RapidiTTy™ Pro.

Further information about this new programme is available from the TTE Systems WWW site.
