Personal information

I was born in Birmingham and grew up in Clevedon, a seaside town near Bristol. I came to Leicester in 1983, graduated with a BSc in Chemistry with Geochemistry, and joined the Engineering Department in 1989. In 2009 I graduated again, with a BA in Humanities with Philosophy from the Open University.  I'm now studying for an MA in Philosophy.
