PhD Student from Engineering wins College of Science and Engineering prize

Gary Nolan. Engineering PhD student, won two prizes at the Festival of Postgraduate Research.

Gary Nolan, PhD student in the Department of Engineering and East Midlands Forensic Pathology Unit, won the Peer Review Prize, which is voted for by students, at the Festival of Postgraduate Research on 16th June 2011.  Gary also won the prize for 'Best presentation in Science and Engineering', which is sponsored by the University of Leicester Development and Alumni Office.  His poster was on "Glassings and Stabbings: Bottles as Weapons - The Engineering Story".
