Alstom Grid UK Limited and University of Leicester KTP award

The Knowledge Transfer Partnership between University of Leicester and Alstom Grid UK Limited was awarded the highest grade of "Outstanding" by the KTP Grading Panel for its achievement in meeting KTP's Objectives.

The project: “To develop the capability to characterise and assess insulating materials and key components for low-loss High Voltage DC (HVDC) electrical transmission”

Thank you to everyone involved in all your hard work in making this project “outstanding” in the assessment panels eyes.

All winners will be invited to the KTP Awards Ceremony in autumn 2013. In 2012 all awards were presented at a special KTP Awards event in London attended by David Willetts, Minister for Universities and Science.
