Professor Andrew Strang awarded IMMM medal

Professor Andrew Strang, a visiting professor in the Mechanics of Materials research group, has been awarded the Sir Andrew Bryan Medal by the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining. This medal is awarded for "sustained and outstanding contributions to the Institute and its activities". The IMMM is the main professional body for specialists in metallurgy and materials technology.
