Prof Helen Atkinson nominated for "Women in the Workplace" award
Professor Helen Atkinson was recently nominated for a Leicester Business Women’s “Women in the Workplace award”; the finals of which took place on Friday 19th November.
Professor Atkinson was one of four-runners up to the main winner – Aileen Morris who is the Manager of Leicester City Council’s Family Hostel for the Homeless. 55 nominations had been received.
Helen said:
Overall it was a very humbling evening because you hear all about the people who have done amazing things despite very difficult circumstances.
