PGCE

We offer high quality PGCE training here at the University of Leicester through our two vibrant and successful PGCE programmes:

We also offer an alternative route into Primary teaching through our TeachFirst Primary programme.

Qualifications

  • All successful students will gain a PGCE and Qualified Teacher Status qualification.
  • All students will be awarded the PGCE at Professional or Masters level. Students who pass at Masters level will be awarded 60 credits which can be put towards a full Masters qualification. To gain a full Masters, students are encouraged to consider completing further modules within the School once they have attained QTS and have gained some classroom experience.
