Phil is our Programme Leader for the PGCE Secondary course and he coordinates PGCE Secondary Geography here at the School of Education. He also leads the Pedagogy Pathway specialism on the Masters in International Education and supervises several EdD and PhD students.
Phil joined the School in 2005, prior to this he worked at a large comprehensive in South Lincolnshire where he was subject leader for geography and an advanced skills teacher.
He is a member of the Collaborative Action Research Network, and the Geographical Association, bringing both areas of interest together to investigate innovative approaches to learning and curriculum.
