Phil coordinates PGCE Secondary Geography here at the School of Education. He also leads the Pedagogy Pathway specialism on the Masters in International Education and has become the programme leader for the new Distance Learning version of this course. He also supervises several EdD and PhD students.
Phil joined the School in 2005, prior to this he worked at a large comprehensive in South Lincolnshire where he was subject leader for geography and an advanced skills teacher.
He is a member of the Collaborative Action Research Network and the Society for Educational Studies. He has also recently become a teaching fellow of the university.
