About the programme
This is a distance education course, starting in February 2014. The MSc in Learning Innovation comprises five modules, delivered throughout two years of part-time study, including highly participative online learning activities, hands-on and collaborative work. Programme details...
Teaching and learning is facilitated through:
Core materials, including handbooks, module guides and readings, available electronically via Blackboard, the University’s e-learning platform, with and support from the University library
Links to resources such as YouTube videos and lectures on iTunesU
Online learning activities, both synchronous and asynchronous, moderated by both tutors and peers (e.g. discussion boards, wikis, blogs)
Collaborative activities carried out in small groups online
A personal tutor to guide you through the programme; the dialogue you have with them (usually via email, phone and online) will prove a very powerful learning tool
Although this is a distance education course, you may optionally visit the UK for a summer workshop, at which you can meet the tutors, discuss your study, and use the library in person. Some post-graduates like to combine this with an advanced English course.
If you would like to join us in Februrary 2014, first, check that you meet the entry requirements - you will need a degree or equivalent, experience in education, internet access and an adequate command of English. If you are not sure you qualify, contact the admissions tutor, Dr Palitha Edirisingha, for advice - call+44(0)116 252 3753 or email email@example.com
Next, go to the details page and select the online application form (on the right-hand side). If accepted, this will reserve your place on the Masters.
Payment and registration is not required until the end of January, and payment can be spread over the two years.
The first twelve full-fee-paying students to register for this course will receive an iPad mini to use in their studies. Apply here
