  • A degree course in mathematics is offered which provides the opportunity to pursue modules within the mainstream of economics.
  • Essential techniques are taught in analysis, algebra, applied mathematics, and statistics.
  • The core subjects of microeconomics and macroeconomics are taught in the first and second years.
  • The opportunity is provided of specialising in statistics and econometrics.
  • In the third year, choices can be made from a wide range of courses in mathematics and economics.

BA Management with Economics (NL21)

  • A challenging curriculum is provided that explores the intellectual synergies between management and economics.
  • A foundation course in management is taught that also examines business practices and the business environment.
  • The core subjects of microeconomics and macroeconomics are taught in the first and second years.
  • In the third year, either management studies or economics can be emphasized bu choosing from a wide range of courses.

  • Poltiical ideas and political ideologies are described and analysed, and diverse political systems and their problems are considered.

  • In the third year, choices can be made from a wide range of courses in politics and economics.
