What is the closing date?

Candidates should send a completed application form to us as soon as possible, the Department, however, recognises that this is not always possible, as a guide we recommend the following:

  • International Students: Student from outside the EU should submit a completed application form to the Department no later 31st August to be considered for admittance for this years entry.
  • Any applications received after this date may be considered for next year's entry.

What happens next?

The assessment of your application can take up to 28 days. Once the Postgraduate Admissions Tutor has reached a decision, you will be informed whether or not your application has been successful.

Equal opportunities in admissions

The University policy in considering applications is to use an assessment of the applicant’s potential to achieve success as the criterion for selection. Admissions Tutors will therefore consider factors relevant to the applicant’s academic aptitude. No application will receive less favourable treated on the grounds of age, disability, ethnicity, marital status, nationality, race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, social class, or ethnic or national origins. Any conditions for entry to a course will only be imposed if justifiable on academic grounds.
