Supervision Interests
Innovation and intellectual property rights. My research focuses mainly on the theory of innovation and intellectual property rights, broadly interpreted, but I am also willing to supervise empirical research in this field (possibly jointly with colleagues who specialise in micro-econometrics).
Competition policy. Currently I work on loyalty rebates (i.e., competition with non-linear pricing) and the intersection between competition policy and intellectual property rights. However, I am interested in supervising students in any field of competition policy, including mergers, collusive practices, predation, bundling and tying etc.
Social choice theory. I maintain an interest in the theory of social choice, a subject on which I worked extensively in the past
