We are pleased to announce that we are bringing together the outstanding expertise in our Department of Economics and School of Management to create the University of Leicester School of Business.
Please bear with us whilst we update our webpages to reflect the change.
The Department of Economics at Leicester has a long history. Since its inauguration in 1924, the Department has been increasingly successful.
The Department of Economics aims to provide its students with as much support and assistance as possible along with providing a friendly and pleasing environment, which is why it has recently invested in specific areas for students.
Our modern structure consists of over 40 academic staff working in the department, including 13 professors, and over 50 research students. We offer 10 undergraduate programmes, 5 taught postgraduate courses and a PhD programme making the Department of Economics at the University of Leicester one of the largest in the country.
