Make Justice Work letter to the Guardian
The Make Justice Work campaign have written a letter to the Editor of the Guardian which now takes pride of place on the dedicated Prisons and Probation page at the guardian.co.uk and also features on page 37 of the main section the the Guardian newspaper on Thursday 30 June
Professor Carol Hedderman at the Department of Criminology is an ambassador for the Make Justice Work Campaign, and along with other ambassadors of MJW, supported the letter which was sent to the Guardian in reaction to the government's plans to reform the criminal justice system. The letter called on the government to commit to cutting the number of short term sentences.
