In September 2011, Irene Zempi was invited to a research programme which was facilitated by Dr Chris Allen entitled, 'Islamophobia: taking stock, moving forward'. The findings from this programme will be launched at an ESRC Festival of Social Science event in Birmingham later in the year and will also form part of submissions to both the All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on Islamophobia and the Organisation for Security & Co-Operation in Europe (OSCE).
