The Department of Criminology is situated on the University of Leicester's satellite campus, about half a mile from the main campus. The main building, The Friars, is on Upper New Walk, a pedestrian thoroughfare which links the city centre and Victoria Park.

Parking for disabled visitors is available at The Friars, via Salisbury Avenue, a small lane off the London Road (A6). General parking is available in Victoria Park, off Granville Road, charges range from £1.00 to £4.70 depending on the length of time that you wish to park. There are also a number of on-street parking spaces on roads near the Department. Further information about parking in Leicester can be found on the Leicester City Council website.

Leicester railway station is served by East Midlands Trains, and is just 10 minutes walk from the Department. Several bus services run along London Road from the city centre and the suburbs. For further information about using these services click the travel information link, below.
