Scholarships

A scholarship for BSc Computer Science is a financial award from the University or Department. The sole criterion for awarding a scholarship is academic merit. Scholarships, unlike loans, do not have to be re-paid.

Departmental Scholarships

These scholarships are available for all international students. The scholarship will be given to you in the form of a fee reduction. The award of a scholarship is based solely on your academic achievements and examination results obtained before commencement of the degree programme (but perhaps after you apply), and all applicants will be automatically considered for these scholarships; there is no application form to fill in. However, you must have applied by August 31st for September/October entry.

University Scholarships and Bursaries

The University offers a number of scholarships and bursaries, for home, EU and international students.

Home and EU students will be automatically considered for a scholarship, based on qualifications obtained (usually with results known by summer before entry). However, international students (roughly speaking, an international student is any student who is not eligible to pay home (UK) or EU fees) must fill in an application form. Please note that you can only apply once you have been offered a place.
