Adam Baldwin (2nd Year Ph.D. Student) completed his MChem degree at the University of Leicester in 2011, working under the supervision of Dr Glenn Burley. He is now working on the DNA templated synthesis of protein secondary and tertiary structures.
Naomi Allaway (1st Year Ph.D. Student) graduated from the University of Glasgow with a MSc degree in June 2012, working under the supervision of Dr Richard Hartley. She then joined the Jamieson Group in July 2012 to undertake a summer research project before starting her Ph.D. in October (joint project with Prof. John Schwabe, Department of Biochemistry).
Ameera Aljabiry (MSc Cancer Chemistry student) graduated from Qatar University with a BSc degree in chemistry in 2009. She then worked as a research assistant before moving to leicester to study Cancer Chemistry. She joined the Jamieson Group in January 2013 to undertake her MSc research project, titled 'The Design and Synthesis of Conformationally Constrained Peptides: Dissecting the Mechanism of Activation of HDAC1'.
Funding is gratefully acknowledged from the Qatar Foundation.

Georgina Girt (MSc Project Student) completed her BSc in Pharmaceutical Chemistry at the University of Leicester in 2012. She joined the Jamieson group to investigate the role of Class 1 HDACs in cancer using novel peptidomimetics.
