Research Interests
Our research is focused on the invention of new methodology for organic synthesis. We use transition metal catalysis to develop reactions that are atom and step efficient and enable new synthetic strategies.
To develop new reactions we often need to research the fundamental organometallic chemistry that is the basis for the transformations we are interested in. Hence, our work encompasses aspects of ligand design and organometallic chemistry, which we apply to generate new synthetic methodology. Currently, our major focus is on the use of C-H activation in synthesis.
