Research Interests
My research interests encompass a broad range of topics in physical chemistry. However, my main interests are in gas phase spectroscopy (electronic, vibrational and rotational spectroscopy) of transient molecules, including silicon containing species of astrochemical interest; computational chemistry, including the search for helium containing compounds. I also have some interest in atmospheric chemistry, in particular the development of new instrumentation, and biospectroscopy, in particular the development of instrumentation and software to study biological tissue using FTIR/Raman spectroscopy.
