As an RSC School Teacher Fellow, I have been given the fantastic opportunity of being released for a year from my teaching commitments at John Cleveland College, Hinckley in order to carry out research looking at the transition from secondary school into undergraduate chemistry.

• A-level practical experiments designed to develop students practical abilities as well as improve their ability to learn independently
