School of Business

Zoe image - HomepageThe University of Leicester School of Business was established in 2016, bringing together the outstanding expertise in Economics and Management to create a world class business school.

The development of the School of Business builds on our distinctive degree portfolio and insightful research to provide fantastic opportunities for our students.

The School of Business will be distinctive in its research, its approach to the study of business, economics and management and its portfolio of courses. It will also be relevant in the application of those areas to knowledge, organisations and generating impact.

We mean business. Our courses will take a different approach to the traditional business school. Students will explore issues which impact upon global economics, but will also have their basic managerial assumptions challenged in a stimulating and innovative learning culture.

Led by Professor Zoe Radnor, who joined us recently from Loughborough University, the new School will meet an increasing demand from students and global enterprise for excellent education and strong engagement in diverse and wide-reaching areas related to organisations.

Bringing together these two distinct departments will foster innovation and knowledge exchange in our teaching and research, increase the breadth and depth of our academic portfolio and deepen external partnerships with organisations and business.

The University of Leicester School of Business is a place where research meets teaching, norms meet reflection, distinctiveness meets relevance and where impossible dreams become reality.
