Biological Sciences at Leicester
We offer a range of courses in Biological Sciences, including specialisms in Biochemistry, Genetics, Microbiology, Neuroscience, Zoology, and Physiology with Pharmacology. The University is ranked 8th in the UK for Biosciences in the 2015 University Guide published by the Guardian. We offer an outstanding student experience: in the 2014 National Student Survey, 96% of students studying Biological Sciences were satisfied with their course and we received 100% satisfaction for Biology and Genetics.
The School’s teaching is delivered by four departments:
