Our projects are funded by both the University and external bodies including the Higher Education Academy (HEA) and JISC. We carry out research in student learning associated with e-learning and learning technologies and how the beneficial effects can positively be enhanced. This research-to-practice model underpins the work of the department.

Our projects involve the Beyond Distance Research Alliance, associates and colleagues from across the University of Leicester, and partners from around the world.
