September 2010: Design for openness workshop

The Design for Openness workshop was attended by staff at the University of Leicester.  The CORRE process, developed by the OTTER team, was presented to aid staff at the University in creating Open Educational Resources.  The recording of the event will soon be available as an OER, view and download the presentation from the event. 

July 2010: D-Lib Magazine article

July 2010: OTTER OER Symposium

Our online open space OTTER Symposium was held during July. All presentations are available to view and download as OER.

Alejandro Armellini attended this event which included presentations by Andrew Law, Patrick McAndrew, Chris Pegler & Laura Dewis. Q&A Panel: Martin Bean, David Vincent, Andrew Law, Rose Webb, Andy Lane.

January 2010: Learning Futures Festival Online, University of Leicester

OTTER presented Out in the Open: Beyond Distance and Open Educational Resources (932 KB) and Open Wide: This won't hurt a bit. Challenging perceived barriers to OER creation (523KB)

December 2009: Online Educa Berlin

Simon Kear presented a paper entitled 'Open Educational Resources: The Leicester Approach' as part of the oer panel.

OTTER was also a part of the Media Cafe sessions with the presentation OTTER: Creating OERs at Leicester.

November 2009: Open Learning Conference, University of Nottingham

Samuel Nikoi presented CORRE which has been developed during the OTTER project.  Tania Rowlett and Emma Davies also attended this event which was primarily focused on OERs.

November 2009: JISC CETIS Conference 2009: A Brave New World? Birmingham

Emma Davies and Richard Mobbs attended this 2 day conference which was focused on technology, both hardware and software, and OERs.  Keynotes included: Chris Cobb and Bill Thompson.

October 2009: JISC UKOer Interim Meeting
