Course Overview |
The Adobe Connect virtual classroom is a browser-based Flash application that allows for the traditional presentation of slides to an online audience as well as more interactive elements such as polling and text chat. It offers a very effective way to stay in touch with your research students, record your lectures, manage online meetings with colleagues or even run an international conference. |

What can I expect to cover? |
This session will introduce you to the basics of using this software - available to all University teaching staff - as well as the pedagogy surrounding its effective use. Participants will have the chance to set up meetings, upload PowerPoint slides, integrate audio and video, and design polling tasks. |

What will I get out of this course? |
Participants registered on the Connect server will gain the skills to use the virtual classroom for their teaching and student support. |
