The POERUP (which stands for Policies for OER Uptake) project, funded under the EU FP7 Lifelong Learning Programme, aims to provide a global inventory of the most relevant OER initiatives at the supra-institutional level to create opportunities to contrast approaches. This is the first EU project that Beyond Distance has had funding for and we are partnering four European Universities, another from Canada and the EDEN network.

Another recent project is the ‘Manufacturing pasts: industrial change in twentieth century Britain’ project, led by the University Library, where BDRA are supporting the Centre for Urban History and the Library in an initiative that will benefit students, lecturers and public organizations by creating a range of OERs.
