Lamport Hall Study Days 2012

The Centre’s Director, David Ekserdjian, and George Drye, Executive Director of the Lamport Hall Preservation Trust, announce 3 days of lectures open to the general public as guests of the Trust.

The lectures will take place in the Oak Room, Lamport Hall, Northamptonshire.

10.15 a.m. Registration
10.30   Lecture 1
11.30  Break for coffee and biscuits
12.00  Lecture 2
1.00  Lunch in the Dining Room
2.00  Lecture 3
3.15  Depart

Cost:  £40 per study day, inclusive of lunch, tea and coffee. Purchase tickets.  

All bookings must be made by the Friday prior to the study day and details on how to do this will be available soon. Please note that it will not be possible to pay on the day. Special dietary requirements will be met where possible if notified at the time of booking.  Please remember Lamport Hall is a traditional country house and dress according to the weather conditions.

Lamport Internship

This internship at Lamport Hall is available to a student who takes the Country House MA.  For more information, please see  http://www.lamporthall.co.uk/index.php?page=internship. The deadline for applications is 5th June 2013 and a CV along with covering letter is required.

Scholarships 2012/13

We offer a postgraduate scholarship worth £1,000 off the fees for home and EU students and £2,000 for overseas students. DEADLINE 31 MARCH 2013.

 

We are also pleased to offer two Lamport BURSARIES each worth £1,000 for 213/14. To be eligible you need to have applied to join the MA programme and will need a previous degree at 2.1 level or better (or MA at distinction level). Then you need to write 500 words explaining how you would benefit from the bursary and why you merit it.  This should be emailed to admin@lamporthall.co.uk for the attention of Mr Drye AND to dpme1@le.ac.uk BY 14 SEPTEMBER 2013. You will hear by 21 September if you have been successful.
