2012/2013 Internship at Lamport Hall

The Lamport Hall Trust intends to appoint an intern commencing Autumn 2012 for one year.  Details are on the Lamport Hall website. The successful candidate will be expected to have obtained a place to read for an M.A.  "The Country House: Art, History and Literature" at the Centre for the Study of the Country House, the University of Leicester.  Half the fees will be paid by Lamport Hall and in addition the intern will receive accommodation in The Hall, free of charge.  It is expected that the intern will work 1 or 2 days per week during the winter gaining work experience at Lamport Hall and this will increase to 2 or 3 days per week from Easter 2013. 

Applicants should first obtain guidance from Dr. Phillip Lindley at the University of Leicester concerning the likelihood of obtaining a place on the programme before sending their C.V. with a covering letter of application to Mr. G. P. S. Drye, Executive Director, at Lamport Hall, Lamport, Northampton, NN6 9HD.
