Richard III discovered!

Richard III's body has been found! Skeletal analyses and DNA recovered have identified the king's body. The excavations by ULAS at the Greyfriars site in the city centre have revealed where the monarch was laid to rest!

Hunting for the body of King Richard III
ULAS, staff and researchers from the School of Archaeology & Ancient History and the University of Leicester, and Leicester City Council, in association with the Richard III Society, recently joined forces to search for the mortal remains of King Richard III - his resting place in a former city friary long lost but now relocated, hidden beneath a modern car park in the city centre.
