Call for Papers - "Archaeology and the Map: Critique and Practice", University of Leicester, 23 May 2015

Call for Papers - a one-day meeting "Archaeology and the Map: Critique and Practice" will be taking place at the University of Leicester on 23 May 2015.

We invite contributions that seek to scrutinise the archaeological map and the possibilities for alternative archaeological mappings. The conference is open to theoretical and empirical approaches providing they seek to challenge and unsettle the current status of maps and mappings in archaeology.
