Outgoing Visiting Researcher Scheme
The scheme to support outgoing research visits is open to all academics, researchers and postgraduate research students at the University of Leicester who are affiliated to the Centre for Landscape and Climate Research. It aims to enable researchers to undertake visits to other Universities, Research Institutes, public sector organisations, NGOs or R&D departments in Industry.
The visit should serve the purpose to establish or enhance research collaboration, further the Centre’s reputation and lead to a tangible output. Prospective applicants should note that Centre for Landscape and Climate Research only accepts applications that clearly demonstrate a collaborative research activity with the host organisation and that describe how this award will contribute to the Centre’s objectives.
The length of the visit can vary but must at least be one working week.

At the end of the visit, Visiting Researchers are asked to submit a brief written report summarising their visit and its contribution to the Research Centre. The report should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org
