Core Biotechnology Services (CBS)

The Core Biotechnology Services (CBS) brings together a set of state-of-the art facilities supported by technical expertise to provide researchers with essential tools to undertake world-class research.  The highly experienced CBS staff provide research collaboration opportunities, technical support, education and training across a range of standard and advanced techniques.

The services and expertise of the 12 CBS facilities are available to all researchers and students of the University of Leicester as well as external researchers from other academic institutions and industry. CBS supports the aims of the Midlands Innovation group of Universities, members of which can access the Kit Catalogue of available equipment.

The core objective of CBS is to facilitate successful delivery of the College research and enterprise strategies covering a broad spectrum of biomedical science research.
