for teaching and/or research in the
College of Medicine, Biological Sciences and Psychology
Since 1968, the Workshops have been providing mechanical and electronic equipment of all shapes and sizes, designed to the specific needs of University of Leicester staff and students.Examples of the diverse nature of our work can be found in our extensive galleries:
- Equipment typically used in the laboratory.
- Plant and microbiological LED arrays.
- Confocal and miscellanious microscopy projects.
Why pay for expensive off-the-shelf equipment that
doesn’t fit your needs exactly, if at all, when you can have bespoke equipment designed and manufactured on campus which serves your precise purpose and offers exceptional value-for-money too?
Our Mechanical Workshop is based in the Adrian Building (LG50) and our Electronic Workshop is in the Maurice Shock Building (room 238) – visitors are most welcome. Contact us today to discuss your requirements.
