Research Student Generic Skills Training Programme 2012

This programme is designed for all Arts, Humanities and Law Research students.  Each day is in a 'conference style' format divided into three 90-minute sessions.  For post-APG students there is a choice of sessions.  During the refreshment breaks you will have an opportunity to meet informally with members of staff and students from within the College.  The talks are designed for specific year groups, but you may elect to attend whichever sessions are most useful to you at this stage in your studies.

We consider these sessions essential for PhDs but if in exceptional circumstances you feel you have already covered a topic please contact the College Director of Postgraduate Research, Professor Kirsten Malmkjaer, km240@le.ac.uk.  The programme has a strong Arts and Humanities bias, but is not subject specific.

There will be two training days in 2012.   One on the 7th February 2012, and one on the 8th May 2012.  These are for pre and post-APG students.  Further Information and details on how to register for these training days can be found on our Graduate School website
