Core and Optional Modules

The following modules are currently available (listed by home department, with suggestions for suitability to particular pathways).

  • Some modules are worth 20 credits but can be upgraded to 30 credits by writing a 5,000 word essay and having five hours' extra tuition.  Credit ratings are listed after the title.
  • Only ONE of these should be taken.
  • If you decide to study two 30 credit modules, you are strongly advised to take one module in Semester I and one in Semester II.
  • Some options will require experience of study in a related subject (contact us for details).
