To provide managers with the key skills, knowledge and sources of support to deal with staff conflict, complaints, disputes or disagreements.
Risk Assessment Training Aug 22, 2017 from 10:00 AM to 03:00 PM
A training workshop facilitated by Safety Services Office. This 5 hour course consists of two elements, the 'Principles' aspect of the workshop reviews the requirements for risk assessments and risk assessment procedures, and the 'Practice' aspect covers examples of risk assessments and assessment strategy.

Word 2013 - Create a Student Handbook Aug 24, 2017 from 09:30 AM to 11:30 AM
This course is for staff who are new to creating or amending student handbooks. The Quality Office have asked that everyone who produces their Student Handbook in Word uses the template. During the training you will be given a copy of the template and receive guidance on where to save it and how to use it.

Board of Examiner Chair Training Aug 30, 2017 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM
This training session engages potential Chairs of Boards of Examiners with the role and responsibilities of the Chair, the regulatory framework which governs the operation of Boards of Examiners, and the other key roles within the assessment and award process. Completion of this training is a requirement for all non-Heads of Department who wish to be able to act as a Chair of a Board of Examiners.

Conversations with Purpose (Workshop Session) Sep 15, 2017 from 09:30 AM to 12:30 PM
A three hour bookable workshop session that gives an overview of challenging conversations, shows the benefits of handling challenging conversations and gives you tools and techniques to use when having challenging conversations. This course will require some pre-work.
OneNote 2013 - Collect, Organise and Share Information Sep 18, 2017 from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM
This course will show you to the potential of OneNote to collect and organise different types of information. OneNote is flexible. It can be used to organise meeting notes, to plan personal or team activities and to help you collect notes linked to websites and documents as you research them. Some teams are starting to use it collaboratively to collect and share resources and information with their team. During the course you will find out how to create and organise a notebook, add a variety of content, use tags to categorise information and how to search across one or more notebooks.
