At the University of Leicester, we pride ourselves on providing employers with high calibre students and graduates through our internship programmes. Our interns bring expertise in a range of areas including marketing, research, web design, engineering and much, much more.

The benefits to employers

• Bursaries on offer to off-set the cost of recruiting a student or graduate.
• No tax or national insurance as the internship is a training programme.
• No payroll administration (we deal with that) saving you time and money.
• We do the initial short-listing of suitable candidates, saving you time.

We offer two internship schemes:

Graduate Internships

You take on a qualified University of Leicester graduate for three months. The programme runs throughout the year, with bursaries from £1,500 available to cover part of the total cost (for a limited period only).

Undergraduate Summer Internships

You take on a second year University of Leicester undergraduate for two months. The scheme runs between late June and October.
