TEDx Leicester

Posted by mjh73 at Apr 24, 2015 04:25 PM |

27 April 2015, 9.45am to 5.30pm
The Curve, Leicester

The University of Leicester is a partner in TEDx Leicester - the first event of its kind in the city.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

The event will feature a talk by Professor Kevin Schurer, Pro-Vice Chancellor for Research and Enterprise, and presentations from University of Leicester students. Staff from the University's enterprise and business development will be available to talk to at the University of Leicester stand.
