Our business development team will work with you to match your needs to our academics’ expertise and manage the contracts and IP, as well as advising on funding opportunities.
We have been involved in a number of Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTPs), a government scheme that provides grants to work with universities.
Our previous projects include:
ALSTOM Grid UK Ltd.: our engineering experts advised the power company on the concept of a new electric measuring probe. The initial advisory project has resulted in a 2-year KTP to explore the use of high voltage direct current. Find out more about our award winning collaboration with Alstom Grid UK
Institute for Adult Learning, Singapore: our Centre for Labour Market Studies has an on-going collaboration that involves working on specific projects related to workforce skills and helping to build a policy base to guide skills development.
Bulb Studios: our ergonomics expert from the School of Management was involved in a KTP to develop bespoke, user-centred software. Through this partnership, Bulb Studios develop Crowdlab™, an award winning market research app. Find out more about this award winning project
