The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Sir Robert Burgess and Professor David Wynford-Thomas, Dean of Medicine, hosted the second annual Medical School Alumni Dinner. Each year (which began in 2010 with the first five years of intakes to the Medical School) the Medical School Alumni Association  organises and hosts a Reunion Dinner for five intakes, sometimes with an overlap if necessary.

This year the Dinner and Drinks reception was for intakes from the years 1978 - 1984.
