Beaumont Hall Reunion 2011
Photographs from the weekend. Beaumont Hall Memorabilia available to purchase now.

Over 100 " Beaumontonians" joined us for a weekend of fine dining, fun and nostalgia at Beaumont Hall on Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th September 2011.
The event started on Saturday evening with a four course dinner in the main Dining Hall, hosted by the Vice-Chancellor, followed by an auction of Beaumont Memorabilia.
Our auctioneer for the evening was former ‘Beaumontonian’ and one of the UK’s top professional magicians, Chris Dugdale , fresh from his recent TV appearance on ITV’s ‘Penn & Teller: Fool Us’ show. All proceeds from the auction will go towards the University’s Student Opportunities Fund, which enables the University to respond quickly to students in need and to recognise their individual potential.
On Sunday, there was a choice of guided tours – the Botanical Gardens and the 10th Anniversary Sculpture Exhibition, or the main University Campus with the chance to see around the award-winning David Wilson Library and the recently refurbished Percy Gee building. These tours were followed by an optional cold buffet lunch back at Beaumont Hall.
Throughout the weekend, there was a Nostalgia Display in the Wedgewood and Music Rooms, showing the history of the Hall through old photographs, documents, audio-visual presentations and other exhibits.
There was also the opportunity to buy University and Beaumont Hall memorabilia, so graduates could take a visual reminder of this unique weekend back home with them. These will soon be available on the Alumni website to purchase.
These events do not happen often and this special weekend was a great opportunity to get together with other Beaumont Hall graduates and share a wonderful weekend in the splendid surroundings of the Hall.
John Flynn, organiser for this event has written an overview of the weekend. Read John's review.
