On Saturday October 30th the University held a special event for alumni who graduated between 1958 and 1965. During this time graduates did not receive a degree certificate at their graduation ceremony. This special event offered alumni a unique opportunity to revisit the University and receive their degree certificate at a gradation style ceremony officiated by the Vice-Chancellor Professor Sir Robert Burgess.

Over 240 alumni plus guests attend the event. In addition to two ceremonies, there were academic lectures, tours of the campus and opportunities to sit an reminisce with friends from past times.
